Revolutionary Spirit is a zine in which the content comes from The Declaration of Independence with annotations from the Anarchist Federation's Revolutionary Manifesto for the Millenium. The zine uses images from the American Revolution, but also modern photos from events like March for Our Lives, the riots in Ferguson, and even from my own town of Gainesville when the student body protested Richard Spencer's speech on campus. I paired these photos with expressive and aggressive linework and used the contrasting text to create a call to action for young people to begin questioning our current political system and making our opposition to it known.
